Nicolau Lobato Presidential Palace, Tuesday, 4 September – The president of the Institute of Petroleum and Geology (IPG) Hélio Casemiro Guterres and his team met with the President of the Republic Francisco Guterres Lú Olo.

On this occasion, Hélio Casemiro Guterres talked about the work that the institution has been conducting, namely the identification of natural resources and the study of natural phenomena, and handed over an invitation to the Head of State to attend the International Seminar on Geology taking place on 23 October.

The President of the Republic expressed his appreciation for the work developed by the IPG and encouraged the Institute of Petroleum and Geology to continue studying the country’s resources.

As far as natural phenomena are concerned, the Head of State highlighted the importance of establishing regular cooperation with technical engineering services within feasibility studies for large-scale construction projects.
