The ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Mr Xiao Jianguo, offered his congratulations to President Francisco Guterres Lú Olo on his 65th birthday.
The Chinese ambassador took the opportunity to talk about cooperation between the two countries in the areas of education, health, agriculture, and oil, as well as the strengthening of relations between the two peoples through town-twinning initiatives.
The Head of State thanked China’s support and expressed his desire to strengthen cooperation.
The President of the Republic also took this opportunity to congratulate China in advance for the 70th anniversary of the foundation of the People’s Republic of China, which will be celebrated on 1 October, and conveyed his wishes of prosperity to the country and of happiness to the Chinese people.
