Dili, 4 February 2015 – H.E. the President of the Republic, Taur Matan Ruak, this Wednesday sent his condolences to the family of the Mateus de Jesus (56), member of Parliament and a CNRT politician, who died on 30 January in a hospital in Singapore due to a long-term illness.
The Head of State offered words of encouragement to the bereaved family, saying that Timor-Leste has lost a great citizen who contributed to the struggle for independence and, later on, to the state-building process as member of Parliament.
