On 24 June, at 4.30 p.m., twenty-one new members of the 8th Constitutional Government will be sworn in by the President of the Republic.
The following will be sworn in: the deputy Prime Minister who is also Minister of Land Use Planning, the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, the Minister of Tourism, Trade and Industry, the Minister of the Interior, the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, the Vice-Minister of Justice, the Vice-Minister of State Administration, the Vice-Minister of Health, the Vice-Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, the Vice-Minister of Trade and Industry, the Vice-Minister of Community-based and Cultural Tourism, the Vice-Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, the Vice-Minister of the Interior, the Secretary of State for Vocational Training and Employment, the Secretary of State for Cooperatives, the Secretary of State for Fisheries, the Secretary of State for Youth and Sports, and the Secretary of State for Civil Protection.
According to the decree-law on the new organic law of the 8th Constitutional Government, enacted by the President of the Republic on 19 June, the government’s structure includes the prime minister, two deputy prime ministers, the minister of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the coordinating minister for economic affairs, ministers, vice-ministers and secretaries of State.
All members of the 8th Government will participate in the swearing-in ceremony.
